Digital Well-Being Counselling®

Digital Well-Being Counselling® integrates contemporary knowledge of technology and digital behaviour with established psychological and psychotherapeutic approaches. Practitioners learn to identify how digital environments interact with attention, emotion, attachment, identity, relationships and behaviour, and to select appropriate evidence-based interventions based on the psychological processes underlying the presenting concern.

An evidence-informed specialist pathway for therapists, counsellors, psychologists and well-being professionals who want to help clients build healthier relationships with technology, reduce digital stress and thrive in an AI-driven world.

Successful completion leads to recognition as a Certified Digital Wellbeing Practitioner®. Clinics can train their teams and pursue recognition as Certified Digital Wellbeing Clinics®.

Questions & answers

Licensing and certification questions.

What does certification mean?

Certification demonstrates that you have completed the required training and assessment and demonstrated competence in applying the methodology within your existing professional scope of practice.

What does the practitioner licence allow me to do?

An active licence allows you to use designated methodologies, practitioner tools, client resources and approved programme branding in accordance with the licence terms.

Does certification expand my professional scope of practice?

No. Certification provides specialist training in the methodology but does not replace professional qualifications, statutory registration or other requirements to practise in your jurisdiction.

Can clinics and organisations become licensed partners?

Yes. Partnership and organisational licensing options enable eligible teams to train practitioners and integrate selected methodologies into their existing client or employee services.

How do I become certified and licensed?

Complete the required professional training and competency assessment. Once approved, eligible practitioners can obtain a practitioner licence and access the relevant tools, resources and professional materials.

Is ongoing training and support provided?

Yes. Licensed practitioners can access ongoing professional development, updated resources and practice guidance to support quality, consistency and continued development in applying the methodology.
